Katie Puckrik smells Terre d’Hermès by Hermès Please subscribe! For more information including where to buy, head on over to my website: tiny.cc Theme song: “Perfume” by Sparks. Watch the video of the full song: www.youtube.com Transcript: Terre d’Hermès by Hermès is a popular eau de toilette for men, and its popularity is justified. It’s bright and fresh without being cheesy or clumsy. It’s clean without being soapy. Terre d’Hermès has a sharp, grapefruit attack that opens up into pepper and rosy geranium. Vetiver, which can be dense and rooty smelling, has a sheer treatment here. Theres a mineral flintiness in the scent, which gives it effervescence. Even though “terre”, French for “earth”, is in the name, it’s not an earthy fragrance. I’d say it’s a refined rugged scent. Three years after the introduction of the eau de toilette – comes the parfum version. It was created by master perfumer Jean Claude Ellena, the superstar nose behind the original Terre d’Hermès. It’s really rare to see masculine scents issued in this full strength concentration – and I don’t know why that is. Aw shucks – eau de colognes good enough you, Mister! Eau de toilette if you’re feelin’ like a flashy, dandified devil. Oh yeah! You know when that is. But with Terre d’Hermès parfum, all the good stuff in the eau de toilette just got gooder. The flintiness of the original is fuller and richer in the parfum, smelling more like the earth that covers rocks, rather than the rocks themselves. You don’t …

Katie Puckrik smells Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior. Please subscribe! I’ve had a boatload of requests to review this one, so here it is! For more information including where to buy, hippity hop over to my blog: www.katiepuckriksmells.com Theme song: “Perfume” by Sparks. Watch the video of the full song: www.youtube.com Transcript: Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior is a decadent oriental that vibrates between unusual and plain old weird. At the start, this eau de toilette is thick, flat, and borderline musty. Kind of like paste that almost smells good enough to eat because of a slight touch of almond sweetness. But if you did eat it, you wouldn’t be very happy with yourself, cuz you just ate paste. Because of the thickness, I find Hypnotic Poison a little suffocating when I first put it on. I actually feel claustrophobic, like I’m stuck inside a giant papier-mache dessert glued together with that aforementioned paste. Wait! Did you hear a woman’s voice coming out of that papier-mache plum-almond-coconut tart? That was weird. For me, Hypnotic Poison finally achieves lift-off when the jasmine make a break for it. The jasmine is a variety called sambac, which is particularly heady and fleshy. There’s also a jacaranda wood accord, which has kind of an intimate salty smell. Here’s where the Hypnotic Poison’s rich vanilla kicks it into a languid, sexy dance, instead of sitting on my skin like a slug. Made out of paste. Because I find Hypnotic Poison so challenging, I’d …

Facebook.com – Become a Fan! Twitter.com – Follow Us! Hey! How’s it going!? It’s Dana Ward here at the ClevverTV studio in Hollywood. So not too long ago, Selena Gomez gave her fans the chance to vote for the scent of her new fragrance and we have the results! How exciting, right? After filling out the multiple question online poll for the three different scents, it seems like a ton of fans were totally on-board with the idea of Vanilla. It won 72-percent of the vote for its category, plus Purple Freesia more than half of the votes in its category while Raspberry got 55-percent out of the choices for that particular note. We definitely think that this is a cool idea for Selena to ask her fans to help create the fragrance that they’re going to want to wear! So what you guys think about the final results of vanilla, purple freesia and raspberry? And if you’re curious about how the final Selena Gomez perfume will smell, you will have the chance to purchase it in May when it hits Macy’s stores. Thanks so muchy for watching! I’m your host Dana Ward, see you guys next time, right here on ClevverTV!
